The Group Home Handbook : The Key to Care for the Elderly with Dementia

Concept

This is a pioneering project of a public group home set forward by the city of Kobe and Urban Development Corporation. The idea was to dissolve temporary homes and provide people with security after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. It functions as a special nursing home, nursing care support center, group home for the elderly with dementia, and silver housing. This all-in-one facility makes it convenient for both users and faculty operators. It also has an excellent view of the Suma Coast and Suma Rikyu Park so the users can enjoy the view they have been accustomed with.
