Concept

Plage Koshimizu is a plan for daycare services on the first floor and rental housing for the elderly (「1K」:1 room with a kitchenette・「2K」:2 rooms with a kitchenette・68 units) on the second through ninth floors, due to the business conversion of Koshimizu Ryokan, which has operated a Japanese inn business in Odawara for 470 years. Each unit is equipped with motion sensors, a self-activated alarm system to watch over the residents, and a life supporter who will be on hand to provide various services, such as intermediation, to provide a "safe and secure home". Each floor has a common lounge overlooking Sagami Bay, where residents can enjoy meals and recreation. A daycare service is located on the first floor, providing a living environment where residents can live with safety and peace of mind, even if they require nursing care or support as they age. Furthermore, the second floor has a museum, the "Wakihonjin Koshimizu Ryokan Museum," which displays hundreds of historical materials owned by the Koshimizu Ryokan, making it a building worthy of the Odawara area.
