Concept

Hello Work Kaseda was planned to relocate and build a new building to solve the aging and cramped conditions of the current building, to accommodate the latest OA equipment, to be barrier-free, and to improve services for users. The planned site is located in a residential area, but faces an intersection of prefectural roads with heavy through traffic, so we planned the building with BIM to ensure safe vehicle entrances and exits, a building layout with few blind spots, and ground elevation settings on a site with a difference in elevation. The use of wood for the exterior wall on the east side of the building, which is easily visible from the surrounding area, was intended to promote the use of wood and at the same time make the building feel familiar to the public. The air intakes were arranged in a direction that also takes into account the effects of ash fall from Sakurajima. The interior space is based on a counter layout that allows all users to see each other, and we have also taken care to create an environment that includes appropriate air conditioning for the self-search corner.
